Why can’t I open my safe?

There are many reasons why a safe may not open. Dead batteries, delayed locking mode or time, stuck bolt work, disconnected or damaged wiring and deactivated codes

Don’t be anxious! Before contacting the manufacturer, you must know why the safe won’t open. Here are five possible causes, commonly found

Stuck bolt
It is possible that the bolt on your safe is stuck. When you hear the motor trying to retract the bolt work, the jam may be the main reason why your safe will not open. Solution steps: Press firmly on the door several times to loosen the bolt. Make sure, however, that you do not press the keypad or the handle. From there, pull the handle in the opposite direction to the usual one and enter the code.

Wiring problem
The wiring is disconnected or damaged. For disconnected wiring, only remove the keypad and check that the wiring is not loose. If they are intact but not working properly, they are probably damaged.

Dead batteries
When your safe does not open, you may not think the battery is the problem. Even your keypad will usually beep and light up, so check the batteries first. They may not have enough charge left, but not enough to open the bolt. If the batteries are completely dead, replace them immediately.

Lock mode
Please remember that your home safe may go into lockout standby mode if you enter a number of error codes. Be sure to wait 10-20 minutes before entering the correct code.
